Spread Creek Fire and JH Fire/EMS Wildfire Crew

On May 13th JH Fire/EMS joined interagency crews on the lightning-caused Spread Creek Fire. The Department had a Type 3 Engine stationed for two days and six firefighters on the Spread Creek Fire. JH Fire/EMS is the largest wildland fire crew in the county with 87 firefighters trained in wildland firefighting. The Department has 4 brush trucks (type 6) and the Type 3 pumper that was on Spread Creek.
