& Staff

Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Lizzie moved to Jackson in 2005 and has spent the past two decades immersed in the valley’s emergency response community. Now a Fire Captain and Paramedic with Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, she began as a volunteer in 2011, worked part time for four years, and joined full time in 2015. She also spent eight years with Teton County Search and Rescue, where she saw firsthand the impact of strong member support and retention.
Seeing JHFEMS lose more than half its membership over the last decade inspired Lizzie to create the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Foundation—her solution for strengthening support, improving retention, and ensuring responders are cared for so they can better care for the community.
Proud of the Foundation’s early progress and driven by its potential, Lizzie brings motivation, ideas, and unwavering commitment to ensuring Fire/EMS members feel valued, supported, and equipped for the work ahead.
