When volunteer firefighter and EMT Charlie Crotteau was seriously injured while responding to the Teton Pines fire, the JH Fire/EMS Foundation's Fallen Firefighter Fund was able to provide immediate support for him and his family.
This program has helped fly Charlie's mother to Jackson and provide lodging for family members during his initial recovery. As Charlie continues healing, the Foundation anticipates providing additional assistance to help meet his long-term recovery needs.
The Fallen Firefighter Fund exists for moments like these; to ensure that when one of our firefighters is injured in the line of duty, they and their families receive support when they need it most. Because when our firefighters answer the call for our community, our community should be there for them.
